20/20 Plastic.

is the songwriting project of violinist-vocalist Caroline Jesalva. The band plays Jesalva’s original songs, with her on a plucked violin in place of guitar. Influenced by Dada, free jazz, and Fiona Apple, her lyrics are often darkly surreal, absurd, and existential, but always playful.  

20/20 Plastic has been presented across Chicago in backyards, living rooms, bathtubs, art galleries and classic venues such as The Hideout, Color Club, Elastic Arts, and The Checkout.
